Mid-Season Thoughts

Hello everybody! Mother Nature has been relentless this year, as we have canceled four race night due to wet conditions. We're working hard on trying to reschedule some or all of these races and it takes time as we must consider schedules from other area tracks and driver input, plus getting the okay from WISSOTA to run on a given night. We've already rescheduled one of the canceled nights. We will be running Late Models, Super Stocks and Midwest Modifieds on Wednesday, July 22nd. Race time 7:00 pm. Thanks to the Cowboy Country Stores - Sinclair for agreeing to sponsor this night of racing at Casino Speedway. Also as a reminder, we've are making up the rained out May 31st Super Stock feature during the July 12th race night. As for the remainder of the canceled nights, we are trying to reschedule but can't make any promises.

The racing surface has really come around the past couple of weeks as we've seen alot of three wide and even some four wide racing during the features. This spring I was really worried about the ruts that developed in turn one, but with a lot of hard work and the help of the "Man Up Above" the problem seems to be (hopefully) a thing of the past. So if you haven't been out to Casino Speedway this year, the time is now. The track is in excellent shape and the racing has been super.

Lastly, I'd like to thank all our sponsors, driver, crews, workers and fans for supporting Casino Speedway. Without all of you, racing at Casino Speedway would not be possible. Kathy and I would like to wish all of you a safe and sane Fourth of July weekend. Best wishes for safe travels as we visit our families and friends to celebrate the birth of our great nation!
