THE PRELUDE TO THE BIGGEST FIREWORKS DISPLAY IN SOUTH DAKOTA WILL HAPPEN @ CASINO SPEEDWAY ON THURSDAY. JUNE 30TH. In an effort to promote and enhance the City of Watertown's "Largest Fireworks Display in South Dakota" Celebration at the Redlin Arts Center on July 3rd.... we have moved Big Shots Fireworks Points Night from Sun., July 3rd to Thurs., June 30th with a start time of 7:00 pm. As the racing season is fast approaching and as we all gear up for the new adventures that lie ahead, we would like to clarify a few things regarding Casino Speedway and its future. As many of you are well aware, many changes have taken place over the course of the past 6 months. We are aware that many of you have questions and that different stories have surfaced....
Every year right before Thanksgiving, Kathy & I make a mental list of the things we're thankful for concerning Casino Speedway. We are thankful for... the track officials, kitchen staff, ticket staff, the garbage crew, sponsors, drivers, pit crews, racing families, race fans, our announcer, the flagman, EMT's, tow truck operators, & CRP Photography. Also, we need to give Rueben Meyer a big thank you for all that he does for Casino Speedway...
Hello everybody! Mother Nature has been relentless this year, as we have canceled four race night due to wet conditions. We're working hard on trying to reschedule some or all of these races and it takes time as we must consider schedules from other area tracks and driver input, plus getting the okay from WISSOTA to run on a given night. We've already rescheduled one of the canceled nights. We will be running Late Models, Super Stocks and...
Welcome to the 2015 racing season at Casino Speedway! As the clock continues clicking away to the May 3rd season opener... things are happening at Casino Speedway. We'll kick off the season with the Annual Car Show at the Watertown Mall beginning Friday, April 24th and running through Sunday April 26th. We will be moving cars into the Mall on Thursday, April 23rd starting at 9:00 pm. and then again on Friday, April 24th starting at 9:00 pm....
Hello Everybody! As Spring arrives, on the calendar that is, the 2015 Casino Speedway season is about to crank up. These recent nice temperatures sure are better than the long cold days of the past few months, and make us dream of the up coming race season. But then again, I'm sure mother nature will throw a few black flags for us yet......
