In WISSOTA modified action, Danny Hall of Watertown picked up his first win of the 2008 in a yellow-plagued A-main. Hall was followed to the checkered by Darren Bistodeau of Florence and Eugene Schleusner of Watertown. Kent Arment of Aberdeen, Joel Waba of Watertown and Scott Ward of Watertown were the heat race winners. Ward currently leads the track points standing by a margin of 28 over Bistodeau. Note**... Originally Joel Waba was credited with the win but his #83 modified failed post race inspection.
Reed Storley earned his third feature win of the summer by out-distancing Tony Konold of Clear Lake and current track points leader, Wade Tirrel of White, in the WISSOTA Street Stocks class. The heat race winners were Konold and Jason Marko of Watertown. Tirrel extended his track points lead over fellow White, SD driver Chad Willmott and now leads the standings by 44 points.
In the WISSOTA Late Model feature, Curt Gelling of Aberdeen snared his second win of the season. Scott Hansen of Garden City and Shawn Malsam of Aberdeen finished second and third respectively. Watertown drivers Chad Williamson and Scott Olson were the heat race winners. In the Late Model point standings, Kent Arment of Aberdeen, the National WISSOTA Late Model points leader, currently leads Gelling by 22 points.
As for the Casino Cruisers, Larry Haag of Watertown was the class of the field. Haag crossed the finish line ahead of Milbank drivers Dustin Holtquist and Marlin Snell. The heat races were won by Marcy and Bradley Rossow of Florence. Marcy Rossow currently leads the track points standings by 10 points over Caleb McGuire of Watertown.
